Hair Transplant in Miami: Natural Hairline Restoration
When styling and thickening fibers stop working, a hair transplant can permanently restore density and confidence. At CMA Miami, our team offers modern FUE (follicular unit extraction) and FUT (strip) techniques to rebuild a receding hairline, fill crown thinning, or add coverage to scars. We design your hairline to fit your face, harvest healthy follicles from the back of the scalp, and place them one by one for a natural result. Book a private consult to map graft counts, timelines, and pricing.
What To Expect?
What Is a Hair Transplant, and Who’s a Candidate?
A hair transplant moves your own permanent follicles—usually from the back and sides of the scalp—into areas that have thinned. Because the follicles are living tissue, they continue to grow hair in their new location. Transplants are commonly used for male and female pattern hair loss, hairline recession, crown thinning, and to refine density after prior procedures. Women with stable donor hair can be excellent candidates; we also treat traction and postpartum thinning on a case-by-case basis.
FUE vs. FUT: Choosing the Right Method
FUE removes follicles individually with tiny circular punches; it leaves micro-dots that are hard to see with short hair and has a fast recovery.
FUT takes a narrow strip of scalp from the donor area and microscopically dissects hair grafts; it’s efficient for higher graft counts and is hidden by surrounding hair but does leave a fine linear scar. During your consult, we measure donor density, review hairstyle goals, and recommend the approach that balances coverage, scarring, budget, and downtime.

Results, Longevity & Combination Strategies
Timeline
It’s normal for transplanted hairs to shed in the first 2–3 weeks—the follicles are alive beneath the skin. New growth typically appears around months 3–4, thickens at 6 months, and matures by 9–12 months. We photograph and compare density at follow-ups so you can see progress clearly.
How long does it last?
Transplanted follicles usually keep their donor dominance—they behave like the hair from the back of your head and are considered long-term. Native hair can continue to thin with age, so some patients choose medical therapies or small “top-off” sessions years later to maintain balance.
What about cost?
Hair transplant pricing is based on graft count, technique (FUE vs. FUT), and the complexity of your case (hair texture, previous procedures, scar repair). Because every plan is unique, we provide a written quote after your mapping session and discuss payment options. You’ll also receive an estimated graft range so you can weigh coverage vs. budget.
Add ons:
Non-surgical therapies like Alma TED or PRP, plus daily minoxidil and/or finasteride (if appropriate), can support native hair and help you protect your transplant investment. We’ll tailor a plan to your goals.
